Although his courageous personal traits make him famous, he was not perfect in all aspects. Hercules was born to a woman by the name of Alcmene and fathered by the greatest god in Greek mythology, Zeus. Zeus��s wife Hara was very upset by Zeus�� philandering and when Hercules was born, she attempted to kill Hercules as a child by sending two snakes into his crib and poisoning him. Hercules was able to kill the snakes in his crib before they could bite him. Hara remained angry. She plotted ways to make Hercules life very miserable. Hercules grew up to be a great warrior and eventually married and had two children. In Hara relentless plotting she was able to make Hercules go into a fit of madness. A great tragedy occurred to his family. In a confused and angry state, he killed his own wife and children. When he awakened from his "temporary insanity," Hercules was shocked and upset by what he'd done. He was very regretful for what he��d done to....
