The Trojan values are found throughout the Iliad, and were a very big part of Trojan society. The Trojans valued their pride and honor even more than their lives. This was shown in the fight scene between Hector and Achilles. Hector was so prideful, in himself and his country that he risked death and fought Achilles. Even though he knew he was Achilles was going to prevail and kill him. The Trojans very much so valued their ideals and stood up for what they believed in. The Trojan war was a prime example of that. The Trojans wanted to keep to themselves, but the Greeks wanted more land. Based on their values they went to war so show their honor. The manners of the Trojans were expressed by the way they acted towards others and the affect....
