Almost all of my friends have brothers and sisters around their age, and over the years I have gotten really jealous of that fact. All of my brothers and sisters are in their thirties and have started families of their own. They�ve grown up in a different era than me, and there is definitely a difference in our opinions and interests. Even the youngest of all my older siblings is sixteen years older than me! Then, during my junior year of high school, I realized that I had a family that I had never really taken notice of before that gave me comfort and a sense of unity. I became part of the Marching Band my sophomore year, and I couldn�t ever think of giving it up. Well, there were plenty of times when it got difficult. Sharing a field, room, or bus with one hundred people can start to wear on one�s nerves when there is heat and bugs. There was tension and arguments that sometimes lasted for the entire season. Most of the time, I was talking about how much I wanted to quit or drop the class because it got so tough to deal with all of the different personalities and clashing ....
