In the book Animal Farm, by George Orwell, the animals of the story create seven commandments that were mainly laws that they followed to keep everything in order. Just like in any other society, laws are made to rule and to prevent chaos. Listed below are the seven commandments that the class chose to keep rule amongst ourselves. Do Not Steal, is the first commandment on the list. In my opinion this commandment was well chosen, stealing is morally incorrect. It goes against the laws of our society. Stealing also has a side effect, for example it hurts the economy. It hurts the economy by lowering the flow of money into the economy. Therefore this commandment should be used and enforced. Do Not Kill, this commandment is self explanatory. Killing goes against the principle of life. Basically, killing would render these commandments useless because it ends up destroying the society. Killing causes the society to be unsafe and causes the society to not function properly. Killing also goes against religions and any laws of a society. You must be dressed, this is for humane ......
