Fever Pitch Critique Free Essay, Term Paper and Book Report

The movie Fever Pitch, with Drew Barrymore and Jimmy Fallon was a great movie to show examples of interpersonal communication terms and tendencies. While the movie itself may not have attracted me at the start, having a plot based on the Red Sox with a love conflict, it was an entertaining movie. Being a Yankees fan, I can even say I enjoyed it. The main characters, Ben Raymond (Fallon) and Lindsey Meeks (Barrymore) came from two complete opposite sides of the spectrum. Ben was a school teacher, not having much of a vision for furthering his career while being very complacent at the same time. Lindsey had a workaholic type of personality, constantly trying to get that edge and make it to the next level. While each of them were single for some time, they both had gaps to fill. Ben used his time out of being a school teacher solely on the Red Sox. He was beyond a freak when it came to his excitement and enthusiasm for baseball and the Red Sox. Lindsey again was a workaholic, constantly focusing on her career. A situation like this, bringing two opposites together, will brin......
