Othello: Common Sense Free Essay, Term Paper and Book Report

Othello – A Different Aspect Many could see William Shakespeare’s tragedy, Othello as a concept of racism. Others may see it as an overlooked person who seeks revenge at the prize of the story. As well as others have their own points and views. Well, Othello is a story about lust, hatred, revenge, bloodshed, and much more. But, the one thing that isn’t mentioned about this play is stupidity and lack of common sense. A veil is cast over all the characters within the play to twist their outlook at the all outward. One of the number of characters that falls false impressions is the Moor of Venice himself Othello coming from a distant land deals with pressures of any newcomer, anywhere. The attempt to be common or at least apart of the common, he is lost within this new community and he is lost within Desdemona, he is lost within himself. All of this was two people’s doing, his own and Iago. At first, Othello comes into Venice a new man with skills of battle and finds approval in his own.
