Determining where you want to live is a hard choice. For military members overseas, it is a lot more difficult especially if you have a large family. Going to a new country is hard enough with all the paperwork and a new language, that the thought of living on or off base rarely crosses the minds of newly arrived personnel. There are three major things to consider when looking into a home: size, cost and conveience. Two families each with two children, plus one on the way, had the problem of deciding where to live. One family, the ________ decided to live off base. While the other family, the ________ preferred to stay on base.
The ________ rented a live-in finished basement not far from the base. It was cozy, but cramped for the size of their family. The basement had only one bathroom, which got fought over constantly. It also had a very cramped kitchen, about half the size of a typical American kitchen would be. The kitchen also had very limited shelf space, with only three cupboards above the counter.
