Critically evaluate whether traditional theorists such as Gustave Le Bon are Right in suggesting that crowd/group member descend several rungs on the ladder of civilisation? In this essay I will show two examples of crowd both from Polish history. In first part of this paper I will describe proceedings in Poland during 1980 in the Lenin Shipyard of Gdañsk, which cost life a lot of people but in the same time became big part of Polish independent history.
