Injustice in Huckleberry Finn Free Essay, Term Paper and Book Report

Nicholas Anderson January 18, 2007 General Literature Five Paragraph Essay Onrechtvaardigheid Injustice is sadly growing in the world today. One main type of injustice is the abuse of children. Feuds are rare but are also a reoccurring injustice. The most popular injustice, which has been extinct for almost 200 years, is slavery. By examining child abuse, feuds, and slavery in The Adventures of Huckleberry Finn we will see if these reoccurring problems should be dealt with worldwide. In Huckleberry Finn, Huck is abused by Pap many times during the book and is even locked into a cabin by Pap at one time. Huck is a very strong willed individual who is uncivilized in manner and habit. Huck’s abuse drove him over the edge. He quickly ran away to Sawyer Island because of his abusive and absent father. The journey Huck has now set out on takes him to stay with a family known as the Grangerford”s.
