Pride And Prejudice Summary Pride and prejudice is a beautiful love story set in the 18th century. The main issues in thi movie are Pride, Prejudice, And misunderstandings. The two main characters are Elizabeth Bennett and Mr Darcy. Elizabeth Bennett comes from a family of seven, herself being the second eldest of five girls. The Bennett family were considered middle class, they had servants, but because Mr and Mrs. bennett had not produced a son their home would be entailed away to the nearest living male relative, whose name was Mr Collins, upon Mr. Bennett’s death. This left the family in a very difficult situation. Therefore Mrs. Bennett was driven to find wealthy husbands for her daughters. Mr Darcy comes from an extremely wealthy family of three, Himself, His Father and Mr. Darcy’s sister, Georgiana. His father also took financial responsibility for his servants son, who’s father died when Darcy was young. Mr. Darcy first met Elizabeth Bennett at a local ball that was held in their honour to welcome Mr. Darcy and his friends to the district that Elizabeth lived in. at ......
