The golden number has been always present in the universe ; it is a constant that reflects in many areas of study. This number is also called golden mean when talking about proportions. For historians it has been nearly impossible to determine who was the very first person to discover and/or calculate Phi. Thus , it would be false to give exact data about how was Phi calculated for first time , what was the name of this first person to discover the golden number ,what was the pioneer culture of Phi number what was the very first human use of the number , etc.
In despite of the fact that we do not have precise data , there have been found some proofs of the use of Phi both in the Greek culture between 500 B.C. and 300 B.C.
