The term fast-food has always had a negative connotation and most people associate “unhealthy” with it, while others even attach “lazy,” especially when it is a busy mother buying dinner for the kids on her way home from work or a dad who buys his children a quick lunch between softball and soccer practices. What does this have to do with getting rid of fast food or it being unhealthy? Would it not make sense for the government to close all fast-food restaurants so America can get healthier? If that were to take place, there would be multiple positive outcomes; one is that many Americans would get healthier and, America would probably not be considered the unhealthiest country in the world. Now the ads for fast food restaurants are made just to lure people into the restaurant no matter if they are true or false. The establishment of fast food actually started in the 1950s and many different chains exploded across the United States during the 1960s.
