Voice of Democracy - Why I am Optimistic About our Nation's Furure To be optimistic about something means to be hopeful and confident about it. The word optimistic can be applied to several things. Such as; a person, an idea, and to me, our Nation's future. When someone is optimistic about something, the person, idea, or thing usually means something to them, and America's future means something to me. It means a great deal to me because I live in a place where I have the freedom to make my own choices, have an opinion, and to worship our mighty God whom I love and serve . America also means something to me because it is a country that is worth fighting for. I am reminded every day of all the troops that have fallen and i am also reminded of the dedicated military that works so hard to make our home a better place. I am able to put all of my trust into my country's future and I will forever remain optimistic about it. There are so many reasons why I am so optimistic but a few reasons stand out to me.
