Something that is not often t thought about, but should be recognized is cloning. The cloning of humans, plants and animals. A procedure which allows identical duplicates of and organism to be formed. The process of cloning is a foolish procedure done by some scientists around the world. Proven research has claimed that cloning has many reasons why it should not be performed. Agreeing with that fact, cloning should not be allowed on any animal or human being. Cloning refers to the process of producing a identical copy of an organism by replacing the nucleus of the unfertilized ovum with the nucleus of a body cell from an organism (Kluger, 2008). One specific cloning event took place in 1997 by a group of scientists led by a man named Ian Wilmut. They grouped together and decided to make a clone of a sheep named Dolly who had actually lived to be six years old (Reilly, 2000). Having this fact be true and having been successful scientists began to see a future in cloning human beings.
