Many unethical and disturbing issues come to mind when considering the thought of genetic engineering, especially when pertaining to human beings. The religious ramifications of altering what God has put here on earth could prove to be detrimental to mankind. Additionally, the thought arises that man may consider using genetic engineering to assist with wars. Furthermore, genetic engineering quite possibly could create god like beings with tremendous strength and highly advanced intellects. The power of genetic engineering should not be allowed by any man.
When considering the ethical and moral issues of human genetic engineering, I believe the biggest moral concern, is that God is the genetic master, not man. These technological advancements will tempt man to play God. Man has already proven that he cannot handle this responsibility since he is already begun genetically cloning, and altering food for consumption.
I believe given mans track record of destruction, that his first priority would be to create a super human soldier to be used as a warfare killing machine. Mans cap......
